Microsoft, Google And Apple Now All Want The Cookie To Die
The cookie generates information about user search habits by tracking their Internet path. Marketers then use these cookies to better target their audience. The death of the cookie would send aftershocks through the online marketing world.
What’s strange about this article is that they say that cookies are an invasion of privacy (true), but don’t really emphasize that the new technologies are likely to be even worse (now they can track you across devices).
