Riding the Hashtag in Social Media Marketing

Gary Vaynerchuk has become a “social media guru” by continuously  thinking outside the box.  He engages his followers everyday, and has built the same social media presence and reputation that his company, VaynerMedia, does for its clients.  He uses social media to stay relevant by tweeting 70 times a day to people who engage him, makes YouTube videos, and stays current with the news to keep people’s attention.  With the combination of his personality and experience, companies such as PepsiCo, the New Jersey/Brooklyn Nets, and Fox Broadcasting have all enlisted Vaynerchuk’s Twitter and other social media forums’ expertise to build an online presence, and he has always been successful.
