Facebook Changes Beheading Video Policy

I found Facebook’s new policy change to be very interesting. First off, it is going to cause a lot of controversy. Some people may love being able to share videos of bring awareness of war crimes, but on the other hand, it exposes children to violence and allows for a lot of subjectivity. Before they had a very clear cut rule: no beheading videos. Now, they will have people at Facebook determine the intent behind the video to determine if it falls in line with their new policy. I believe they are in gray area and I am intrigued to see how it plays out.

About nwaks2013

I have been a Lakers fan since before I could put together full sentences. Despite having two older brothers, I was always the one my father could count on to curl up on the couch with him and watch the Lakers.
