After reading the two articles on mobile marketing that were in the syllabus, I definitely agree that this segment is increasing. They mentioned that most mobile searches are for local problems. I definitely use searches on my phone for local restaurants, events, or concerts because I just want that information quickly. Additionally, if I visit a website that offers an app, I will generally download the app for more convenient access to the information that is mobile-friendly. I now even do my check deposits using my bank’s app for it! The news reports and first-hand experience supports the motion that mobile-marketing is a growing industry that companies need to be aware of.
