This article talks about how Samsung made a “digital line” for the launch of the Galaxy S4 in New Zealend. The digital line is basically mocking Apple’s line waiters. The line virtual line actually has the line waiters in sleeping bags at night and use umbrellas when it starts to rain. Fans could move up in line by tweeting more about the phone, and whoever was at the front of the line at the end actually received a free phone. I thought this was a great marketing technique for Samsung because it got people talking about the new S4.
