Although the thought of seeing video ads every time I log onto Facebook does seem a little scary, I think it’s important for advertisers to pursue this idea. TV commercials are quickly becoming a thing of the past. These days, a majority of people watch television shows on their computers, and those who do actually watch TV often record shows in order to be able to fast forward through commercials. Since TV commercials are on their way out, it seems to be the perfect time for video ads on Facebook to take over as the most popular form of outbound marketing. Hopefully, as the article mentioned, an advertising company will take the leap of faith and try out a video advertisement on Facebook to open the door for other companies.
